Matt wanted to propose to Emilee while visiting Gatlinburg. We had the time and location set up. We arrived at the Gatlinburg chair lift in downtown. Matt buys his ticket and then runs to the bathroom to give me time to get up the lift before them. Luckily, I read a sign that says “We offer roundtrip rides at this time. Getting off is not yet safe” due to the recent fire we had. So, we then go to plan B, the space needle. They get up there and start checking out the awesome view. Matt gets down on one knee and when she turns around she is stunned. She was completely blown away! He gave her a beautiful ring. It took awhile for her to grasp what just happened!!
We then went around town to take some photos to celebrate. We stopped at Mynatt Park to get some cute engagement photos of them with the beautiful river.
Up the road is a great place called “Noah Bud Ogle Place” They have the old cabins and barns there that always make for great Tennessee photos.
I truly had so much fun with these two. They are a great pair. I wish you guys many years of happiness. I hope you have a blessed wedding and upcoming marriage! Thanks for having me capture the moment for you!
